Succesful local industry operated by local people is what all Australians should be proud of.Employment opportunity and export is great for everybody.
Divers risk their lives for a harvest amongst an increasing population of Great White Sharks. Local processsing and now value adding with Candy Abalone that are fetching well over a thousand dollars a kilo.
A sustainable Abalone fishery is a very tricky act everywhere so lets see Tasmania benefit from others experience.
