Big Lancelin Mulloway

Post by Ross Compe » Tue May 17, 2016 7:57 am

Joe Horvath has been making good use of his new found retirement status and making even better use of that new Toyota Prado 4WD lately.
A likely looking location just north of Lancelin proved the right spot for a very big Mulloway.
The fish took a Pilchard bait a little after dusk and was landed around 7.30 pm.
Loads of fun on an Alvey reel from the shore and I'm sure a great feed for the family.
Terrific Stuff :D :D :D

Post by Ross Compe » Thu Jun 16, 2016 2:38 pm

Three young men were lucky to survive after their small boat outboard failed while drift fishing from Ledge Point recently.
The boat drifted in a northerly direction and the men made the decision to abandon their craft and make the hazardous swim to Wedge Island.
They survived their ordeal and were rescued the following morning..
