Rusty has requested a separate forum for "Fishing in Esperance" and he wants to be the Moderator.

Rusty and I go way back. He's a good fisherman and he can certainly tell a tale! He lives in Esperance these days and he's promised to keep us up to date on the Esperance fishing scene and any breaking news from the region... Fishing the lakes, rivers, beaches, inshore and offshore, he does it all!

Let's welcome him aboard and give him our support!

Onya Rusty!!!

:D :D :D

Once

I once authored an article on fishing Esperance for Fishnet from memory, - great place to fish!

I have pics somewhere the beaches are wonderful.

The Recherche archipelago holds some fantastic fishing.

Just a pity that on the south coast they get such lousy boating weather most of the year!

Cheers

I worked there for 6 weeks on the CSBP plant.
I fished the local jetty and got nothing.
I took the wife there one December but she wouldnt get out of the car cos it was too cold. We went to Bremer instead (where it was just as cold) and smacked some Salmon.
My Step brother has acreage there and I have promised to visit them someday.
Apart from that the Elephant rock is interesting, Pink Lakes curious and one day I would love to fish out wide on a very big boat.

Jus my 2 bobs
