Fitting Sony Marine Stereo in Poly Planar Splashproof Housing

Not looking forward to this one...

All I wanted was a 'marine' housing for my Sony 'Marine' am/fm/stereo/cd. It didn't come with a housing OR even mounting brackets... what a rip-off...

I didn't realize that the splashproof, Poly Planar housing that I purchased came with it's own wiring harness that is impregnated into resin at the back of the unit. Now I have to match up and join all of the wires on the Sony Stereo with the existing wires in the Poly Planar unit, cram them into the back of the unit and fit the stereo in there too...

In addition, there is not necessarily a one-to-one match in the number - or color of the wires in the Poly Planar housing and the Sony Stereo... Now I have to figure out what goes to what!
